25 Sep Event in Italy. Artelibro 2010 – Bologna. Art Books Fair has started.
As every September, seven years now, back to Bologna Artelibro, the exhibition dedicated to antique books, rare and art. From Friday 24 to Sunday, 26 September 2010, alongside the 39th World Congress and Exhibition of Antiquarian Booksellers International Book Antique, Artelibro offers a unique look on the transversality of the relationship between the artistic world of books and publications. During the event you can meet the famous italian philosopher Umberto Eco (The name of the rose) with his lectio “La vertigine della lista”.
This edition focuses on the project “The infinite library of Daniel Gustav Cramer (Germany) and Haris Epaminondas (Cyprus). The establishment of Luke Cerizza will create a parallel platform of publications published by Books Archive, which will be known as The Infinite Reader.
As usual, to the delight of collectors and curious, the protagonist is the ancient book: Japanese books, Books of Hours, herbaria, tests of anatomy, sheet music and those wonderful tests of artistic expression that the Italian genius has created among the long story.
