Genius of Michelangelo in Architecture

Michelangelo Architect is an exhibition of 50 drawings at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, from 11 February to 8 May, 2011. Civil, religious and military, from sketches to more elaborate projects, many of which have actually been executed, others just outlined, such as that for the basilica of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini in Rome. In addition to the drawings, some of the great engineering projects of Arezzo will be viewable through the accurate 3D reconstructions, developed specially for the exhibition.

The event, organized in collaboration with Casa Buonarroti, is placed together with the exhibition The Last Michelangelo, in the five months that the City of Milan dedication to master.
